Website of the Week: Passports with Purpose

Passports with Purpose

Can you believe it’s December already? That means it’s time to start shelling out the cash to buy presents and support our favorite charities. One way to do both is to make one or multiple $10 donations on one (or all 73) of (PWP) prizes. The PWP gals rallied the travel blogger community for the fourth consecutive year and this year’s proceeds will go to building five wells in rural Haiti through . Prizes range from travel gear to vacation packages and the fundraiser runs through December 11.

  1. I love that PWP is doing something meaningful. It’s too easy to get caught up in a materialist Christmas. Every year I watch this video to keep everything in perspective: . It goes right along with what PWP is doing.

  2. Great post and Passports With a Purpose is a great organization. If you will, let me also tell you about another organization called Quaker Bolivia Link. Through my travels, I have gone to Bolivia. You may not have heard about Bolivia because there are no wars, no genocide, no political unrest. However, it is one of the poorest countries in the world. A charitable organization, Quaker Bolivia Link (www.qbl.org), helps these people and truly makes a difference in their lives. Through Global Giving, you can give these people (and yourself) one of the best Christmas presents possible. Please see and if you can’t give, please share on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
