The New York Times just released an on the growth and impact of wineries in the continental United States. Toggling all the way back to 1937 and up to today, you can discover how diverse landscapes and weather patterns have allowed all 48 continental states to have wineries (I had no idea) and grow a variety of grapes. California leads the way with 3,839 wineries, whose collective economic impact weighs in at $62 billion USD. Incredible.
