Monitor the Parking Meter with Your Phone Alarm
I live in southern California, and it seems like the meter attendants here always know exactly when the meters are going to expire—and they ticket you the moment they do. I’ve learned that the hard way. So now, whenever I park my car at a meter, I always set my phone alarm for a few minutes before the meter is going to expire so I can either put more money in or move my car in time. It’s worth the money saved in tickets—trust me.
