Travel Tip of the Day: Last Chance to Get Extra Passport Pages Added

Johnny-Jet's-2002-2011-Passport-Stamps-6Last Chance to Get Extra Passport Pages Added
Back in April, I wrote that starting January 1, 2016, Americans will no longer be able to add pages to their existing passports. If you travel a lot and have a relatively new passport, I highly recommend you get those extra pages added before December 31, 2015.

If you need more pages after that date, you’ll have to renew your passport, which stinks, especially if you’re a frequent traveler. The good news is that if you renew your passport within the United States, you can choose a 52-page book over a 28-page book by checking the appropriate box at the top of the form for no additional fee. .

FYI: If you don’t want to send your passport in due to FOBWAP (Fear of Being without a Passport) then make an appointment at a US embassy. That’s what I did in Bangkok back in October, which I wrote about here.
