Taxi commercialHow to Find Silence in a Taxi
It seems like every time I get into a taxi, especially in New York City, I’m bombarded by the sounds of their “entertainment systems.” If you’re like me and want peace and quiet while driving (and to not be forced to listen to the irritating sound of commercials or even the local news), then look for the mute button—which is there, even if you don’t see it. They don’t make it very obvious how to mute these systems, and I can rarely find a power button, but there’s always a mute button somewhere—and it’s usually a speaker icon.
