By now, everyone probably knows that the dirtiest thing in a hotel room is the TV remote control. I always used to wipe it down with antibacterial wipes but after staying at The Milestone in London, I learned to bring a plastic sandwich (or other) bag to cover the remote. That’s what they do for their guests.

    Don’t forget to sanitize your phone and TV remotes. And, I have a “sanitizer” — small machine that you once mentioned on your site. Quite handy (I have 2 of them).

    I use either the “ice” bag or one of the bags used to cover a “glass” in the places that I stay…both are readily available and thin enough to not interfere…the open end of a bag from a plastic glass helps not block signal and still provides a reasonable protection.
