Short bio: In 2014, I planned to do a world tour with a friend, but we didn’t want our project to pollute too much. After doing some research, we found ways to reduce the environmental impact of traveling, like carbon compensation or financing associations that will save hectares of forests for each country we visited.
After that first trip of five months across 45 stopovers totally carbon-compensated, I wanted to promote these solutions and continue traveling. Thus I launched the Anywhere Anytime Photography project, which consists of traveling to every country in the world, but using both carbon compensation and forest preservation to compensate the environmental impact of those travels. The pollution is calculated and compensated, and in addition, for every 100 km traveled, I finance the preservation of one hectare of Amazonian forest thanks to associations.
The project is entirely financed by photography and sponsors. The travels are paid for by sponsors and photography incomes, and accommodation is offered by hotels to which I supply free photos for their use.
I am also launching a system that enables users to calculate and compensate the emissions of any travels in one minute, in order to make the process easier.
