Travel Product of the Week: Panono Ball Camera

I want this camera! The only problem, besides it being expensive ($549), is that it’s not available for purchase yet. What makes the so special? It’s a ball with 36 little cameras, so one quick toss will capture everything in every direction in one high-resolution “360° x 360° full-spherical” panoramic image. Check out the video  for a more complete explanation and demonstration, and you may soon understand what all the hype is about.

While you can’t buy it yet, you can get on the waiting list and save $50 off the future retail price—and they won’t charge your credit card until it’s ready for shipping.

  1. I was an Indiegogo backer and will be getting one in a few months. Email me your itinerary past April 2015 and I can see if we overlap so you can play with it.
