  1. what a beautiful rendition to this soldier by the gentleman that took this pictures. Thank you sir for honoring our soldiers and for sharing the experience. I had a son in the Gulf and a nephew in Irak and im so thankful to God that they back safely …I cant hold back the tears whenever I see this young men/women come home in a coffin….cant imagine the pain of the family specially the kids. tHANK YOU TO ALL SOLDIERS AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR KEEPING THIS COUNTRY SAFE NO MATTER WHAT THE SACRIFICE. GOD BLESS THE USA FOREVER!

    • I just read this in2016, but the message is just as strong. I wanted to thank the author for a different reason. When families have such a horrible tragedy, they don’t have the ability to process everyything.maybe in 1 month, or 5 years they will see this and be truly great full to Delta, the LA firedepartment, the passengers,YOU and everyone else I have forgotten. It will mean the world to this ffamily. Thank you so much.
      Been there

  2. What’s the person’s name, isn’t this a rendition of old war giants treating soldier’s like US property? Where’s my son Ryan Gaeta and grandson, who thinks it’s her baby? how about the fallen liars “Bonnie and Clide”? still driving like mad?

  3. Thank you from all veterans. May our Lord protect all our men and women and comfort those that stay behind in their hour of need. The angels shed a tear on this long flight home. I know we all have.
