Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Frederick, who says:
“I’m sure somebody has covered this topic before but we save a lot of money and eat better food by not waiting until we get to the airport to eat. We found that not only was the airport food hugely overpriced, it wasn’t very good. I would suggest to your readers they should eat before they leave home, or at a restaurant away from the airport if at all possible.”
Airport food is general improving in the U.S. (in JFK’s Terminal 4, for example, there are two Shake Shacks), but this is still solid advice. As far as what to eat before you fly, . Thanks, Frederick!
