Don’t Take Rides From Strangers

Don't take rides from strangersYou may have heard this tip before, but it’s worth repeating…

I saw a sign (below) at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport recently reminding travelers that “Anyone who asks you if you need a ride shouldn’t be giving you one.” These “gypsy drivers”—rogue and often unlicensed cab/car drivers who push their services, sometimes aggressively—are found all over the world. They’re most often encountered at airports. With today’s offering of taxis, shuttles and ridesharing services like Uber (which is available in at least 80 countries) and Lyft, there’s no reason to take a chance with an illegal driver.

Don't rake rides from strangers!
