  5. Dear Johnny,

    I hope you are well.

My name is Dean Dalton and I am currently collating information, as I hope to start my own travel blog.

I am looking into different revenue streams, and was wondering if you had any tips and advice on how you utitlise revenue streams through your website, and which could potentially be the most profitable for me…once I’m more established?

Did you concentrate on building up the information and concentrate on the content first …and gradually build the revenue streams into your website?

Any revenue streams which haven’t worked so well…based on your experience?

I understand that you are super busy, so even if you have a link to any information I would be eternally grateful.

Bets of luck for the future :)

    Kindest Regards

    Dean Dalton

    I’m ticked off at United!
This past Monday, 5/7/18, I learned I was the high bidder on two cars being auctioned in Dallas. I got on the united website and was able to book two tix from MHT to DFW, r/t. My wife and I flew to DFW, got a UBER car to the site of the cars, drove them to my other office in OKC. So far so good. However, it dawned on me that I wasn’t going to fly from DFW back to MHT, I wanted to fly from OKC to MHT. My wife would be driving one of the cars back to MHT as her personal car, the other one I would be using at my OKC office.
So, I called United today, 5/13/18,and explained my blunder of not having booked an ‘open jaw’ from MHT to DFW and a return of OKC to MHT. The agent was cordial and the notified me that I would need to pay $200 for a change of flight fee an additional $600 for the ticket.
I was incredulous – $800! In addition to what I had already paid for the R/T ticket! You’ve got to be kidding! I declined to change the flight with United. Instead I got on to Southwest and was able to book a one-way from OKC to MHT for $415.!
How does United justify such baloney?
I’m a mostly domestic flier, with 920,000 miles with United – and this is the crap they are going to give me? I’m quite ticked!
    What would you have done?
